music industry
HARTFORD,
CONNECTICUT – How Far Would You Go? by music world veteran Irene
Melo
follows a young Hispanic woman in her search for happiness in and
out of the music business.
How far must
anyone go to follow his or her dream?
That’s the choice a young Hispanic
woman named Jazzman must make as she works to be a music sensation and
follow her heart.
Struggling to make sense of her life after her
mother’s death, Jazzman finds comfort in spirituality,
even as her heart
beats for the Jamaican artist, Afrique. After a torrid one night stand,
Jazzman thinks there is a real connection.
But is there? Or is her soul
mate destined to be her best friend Tyson?
Beautifully
written and warmly told, How Far Would You Go?
explores life,
death, love and lust with equal passion and intelligence.
Melo, who
worked in the music industry for many years, gives readers a
“you-are-there” perspective.
This is a wonderful book for anyone
interested in what really goes on in both the entertainment business and
the human heart.
